Behind the Product

Impact Details:

Each of my soaps are handmade from all natural, ethically sourced, and sometimes homegrown materials. The lavender for this specific soap was self-harvested and dried by me. I take a great deal of care when preparing the soap, as well as packaging each individual bar. The soap is shrink wrapped to preserve it during the shipping process.

Ingredients:

Glycerin soap base, goats milk and oatmeal soap base, lavender essential oil, fresh lavender

Description

Making soap I something that I truly have a love/hate relationship with. I love creating new scents and colors. I hate to see it leave because seriously, I would use it all myself.

Each batch of soap that I make is themed. Some are created with the goal of being uplifting or energizing the senses. Others, like the lavender scented bars, soothe and calm.

This soap bar smells and feels absolutely amazing. The lavender is aromatic. The scent of oatmeal is faint, but present. The combination of goats milk, oatmeal, and almond oil soothe the skin and leave it feeling smooth.

In general, I only craft my soap according to season. So, unless this soap flies out of my shop, I will not be making another batch until next Spring. Supplies are limited!

Please note, I unless using a mold, I cut my soap by hand. This sometimes results in an uneven or crooked bar.
