The spiderweb shrug is hand crocheted using DK weight (lightweight) 100% cotton yarn. This creates a lightweight, airy and amazingly comfortable top that is a joy to wear. Store folded in a drawer or container away from direct sunlight. (not a vampire, just overlong exposure to sunlight will cause fading). I store my crochet wearables in a Rubbermaid tote in my closet. Avoid hanging the top as this will cause stretching and distort the shrug.

This shrug can be machine washed on delicate cycle, as long as it is inside a mesh laundry washing bag or in a pillowcase tied closed. The bag/pillowcase will protect the garment from snagging on the machine apparatus and will help minimize stretching during spin cycle. Lay flat on a towel to air dry.

Avoid twisting, wringing or stretching the wet fibers. Do not bleach or iron and avoid high heat.
