This lovely hand crocheted lace wrist cuff is the perfect addition to your ensemble. Each set is made with care and attention to detail and made when you order. One of a kind, just like you.

They are made using 100% cotton mercerized crochet thread. This is a very tight weave, extremely lightweight yarn that creates a very strong fiber. The fine thread (weight 0) combined with a very small hook (1.5 mm) creates a delicate and cobweb like fluttering glove that shows every detail from every stitch.

The cuff is made first in short rows until it matches the desired wrist size. This measurement is modified to fit your specific wrist and hand size. I will reach out to you and get those measurements after ordering. Working the cuff this way offers extreme stretch for comfort sliding it over your hand into place. The rows are worked in a pattern of double crochet, chains and skipped stitches to make a striking yet simple wrist cuff. This allows the attention to be held by the elaborate lace work on the glove portion.

When the cuff is the correct length, the short sides are stitched together. A simple yet elegant round of picot stitches creates a delicate and subtle finishing edge to the hem of the cuff. 

The lace portion of the glove is made next. Using a variety of stitches and increasing significantly on each round, the scalloped mesh lace appears. The lace portion is a total of 10 rows that drapes elegantly to the fingertips in sharp pointed scallops, creating a dramatic and stunning effect.

The gloves can be made in deep burgundy (shown in main pictures), deep black, blood red or pristine white. If another color is desired, simply message me so I can make your truly custom set of gloves.
