1. Each Botanical Portrait is an individually crafted piece of wearable art made from tiny strips of quilled paper. I use a pixelated, pointillistic approach to quilling, building the image from many small paper elements rather than traditional drawn or painted marks. Additional quilled paper creates the frame around the botanical image, and the finished piece is sealed with a clear resin glaze that adds depth, shine, and protection to the paper surface.

The resin glaze helps protect the finished piece from incidental moisture, but this is still paper-based artwork and should not be considered waterproof. Please remove before showering, swimming, bathing, or prolonged exposure to water. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight and excessive heat, and store carefully when not being worn. Because each portrait is handmade individually, small variations in color, shape, texture, and paper placement are part of its character.
