These halter tops are so much fun for dancing, beaches and all manner of summer playing!

Each top is a surprise of colors. I close my eyes and grab from my yarn tote and that is the color I use next. Every color is completely random. No two tops will ever be identical!

I crochet each top using 100% cotton medium weight yarn. Cotton offers extreme comfort in the summer months because it breathes and wicks away moisture from the skin. It is very soft and creates a perfect garment, every time.

I start crocheting the top at the back panel. The eyelet holes for the lacings are worked directly into the bodice. My colors, as I mentioned before, are chosen at random. When the top reaches the correct length for the back and side panel, I begin increasing along the top edge. When the top has reached proper length and height, I decrease my row length and create the second side and back panel. I finish the neckline and add the straps. The back corset lacing is made then.

The fringes are made and are attached along the hemline. I match the colors of the fringe to the stripes.

How To Use:

The halter top is easy to wear.

You can loosely lace the back corset and slide it over your head before tightening up the lacing for a fitted bodice. Or you can hold the top in place and have someone lace up the back for you. Another option to getting dressed by yourself is to place the halter corset lacing on your tummy and lace it up to proper tightness, then rotate the top so the corset is in back.

The corset is designed to lace up as you would laces in your tennis shoes--a criss cross pattern with a bow to secure it.

What it's made of:

The top is entirely constructed with 100% cotton medium weight yarn.

Cotton yarn breathes in the summer heat and will wick the moisture from your body, which helps you to stay cool. Cotton yarn is very soft and supple against the skin to offer extreme comfort and continued wear.

Storage and Care:

Hand wash your top in warm water, using a mild detergent.

Rinse well in cool water.

Lay flat on a towel to air dry.

Do not wring or twist the wet top. Do not bleach or iron.

Avoid high heat.

When not in use, fold and store in a drawer, chest or box. Do not hang on a hanger, as this may distort the top and stretch the straps.
