How To Use:

This hat is a slightly oversized jester style hat, so it will fit a little loosely about the head. The folded-up brim can be adjusted to personal taste and style. The folded portion adds an extra layer of warmth over your ears for even more cold weather protection.

What it's made of:

The hat is hand crocheted using worsted weight (medium weight) acrylic yarn. In my opinion, this is the perfect weight for hats and winter gear. It is not bulky or heavy, just the perfect level of warmth and comfort. Almost all of my hats are made from worsted weight yarns.

The tassels or pompoms are also handmade, using the same worsted weight acrylic yarn.

Storage and Care:

Keep your hat stored laid flat, out of direct sunlight. It's Beetlejuice, not a vampire lol, but even Beetlejuice will fade with prolonged exposure to sunlight. I store my hats and winter gear in a box by my back door. Avoid hanging the hat as well.

Avoid high heat. Do not bleach or iron. Do not wring, twist or stretch the wet fibers.

Your hat can be washed in a machine on the delicate cycle in cold/cold temperatures. Make sure to place the hat inside a washing bag designed for delicate items or a pillowcase tied securely closed. This is very important! The bag will prevent the hat from snagging on the machine apparatus and will help minimize stretching that will occur during spin cycles. Lay the hat flat on a towel to air dry.
